Beirut - the movie

They route is a movie I otherwise might not of taken the time to see if not for the share DNA of the beloved Jason Bourne series. Unfortunately that's where the similarities begin an end. While the movie does have a good plot and certainly provides an ample level of entertainment this is a movie better suited for cable TV or if you have #MoviePass certainly a viable option. My biggest disappointment was the lack of action. I don't know why I expected the movie to be a little bit of a more high-octane film that it turned out to be but it was more a story that an action so. That said it's clearly a three out of five stars.
